In May 2024, EUROSOLAR Uzbekistan and Innovation Energy initiated a cooperation with the National Scientific Research Institute of Renewable Energy Sources (NIRES) and other national stakeholders to develop a Center for Renewable Energy Training and Research.
The center will focus on:
- Development of innovative educational methods and training programs
- Joint research on advanced renewable technologies
- Pilot project development and technical advisory
- Preparation of proposals for government consideration
This initiative aims to strengthen Uzbekistan’s institutional capacity in the renewable energy sector and support the country’s long-term energy transition goals through localized knowledge, applied R&D, and workforce development.
