About us
EUROSOLAR Uzbekistan was established in 2025 as part of the international EUROSOLAR network – the European Association for Renewable Energy. Our mission is to support Uzbekistan’s transition to clean energy by fostering local capacity, enabling innovation, and promoting the widespread adoption of solar power and other renewable technologies.
Building on EUROSOLAR’s international expertise and decades-long legacy initiated by visionaries such as Dr. Hermann Scheer, Nodar Kekelidze and Acad. Zhores Alferov, our Uzbekistan branch is focused on creating long-term value through impactful, technically sound, and scalable renewable energy solutions.
One of our first significant steps was the implementation of a solar power plant for Knauf Gips Bukhara, executed in cooperation with our Georgian partner, Innovation Energy LLC. This project demonstrates our ability to bring cross-border experience and trusted partners into Uzbekistan’s rapidly growing renewable energy sector.
Looking forward, EUROSOLAR Uzbekistan aims to become a central platform for collaboration among local and international experts, businesses, institutions, and investors. Our focus is on building a strong foundation for solar energy development through pilot projects, policy engagement, and skills-building initiatives aligned with Uzbekistan’s green economy priorities.
